Single parenting troubles

If you’re a couple having difficulty in parenting, single parenting is probably more difficult. Single parents sometimes choose their role but, more often, they are single parents because the other parent has divorced them, left them or is in jail. Bringing up children as a single father is a tough task. Being a father you have to go to work as well as look after your young ones that is very taxing. You can really fatigue. As a single father neither you nor your child has the liberty to share your thoughts with the mother. The children particularly feel comfortable to converse with their mother for many of their problems.
A number of public schools also don’t consider single parents worthy for the task that adds to their worries. As a single parent, the individual must make all the family decisions unilaterally. If the child gets in trouble, it is the single parent who must take time off from work to deal with the problem. While dealing with parenting, single parenting troubles faced by them is to be noted that they must have a great deal of stamina and self-reliance. They must juggle the demands of work, homework, and house cleaning and dealing with the financial aspects of running a family. Single mothers face a lot of problems while bringing up children in USA. Financial problems being the most important as ex-husband may not pay the court order money for child support.
There may be just one child to deal with or several—all of which have issues they need to have dealt with. When it is a single parenting troubles household, the single parent must wear several hats and do a great deal of tasks to keep the family together. Such mothers may not be able to do a full time job as a result they may not be able to pay for day care and may not meet the criteria for head start. Many are thus dependent on AFDC (aid to families with dependent children) or WIC (Women Infants and children). This dependence on welfare organization once established is difficult to break.
If you are a lone parent or planning to be one it is important for you to realize that proper planning is the key to your success and so is a support network as it is important in learning single parenting troubles. The biggest issue to solve is the time distribution between yourself, work and children so that you can spend few meaningful moments with your children.
It is also a drawback as single parenting troubles that they have to do all the work alone but patience; a little support and good planning can help you a lot. Shortcomings in the welfare system also affect these single mothers. These mothers are considered the same as any other poor social group by many federal and state programs that run WIC and AFDC. On the other hand these women are more likely to suffer from many psychiatric illnesses that then become a major hurdle in getting job or other financial assistance.
As a result of those all things, it becomes difficult for them to gain financial independence and they become permanently dependent on welfare.
