Washington – According to new researches the best treatment best treatment of vertigo is very easy and quick.Vertigo is defined as a problem in which there is spinning or whirling experience of head. The sensation only lasts a short while, but it can be very brutal.
As per the new research, it has been established that a few simple exercises of the head and body can treat vertigo.
“Instead of telling patients to ‘wait it out’ or having them take drugs, we can perform a safe and quick treatment that is immediate and effective,” said Terry D. Fife who led the study.
Vertigo is supposed to occur by loose calcium carbonate (CaCO3) crystals that move in the sensing tubes present in inner ear.
The study also assessed whether restrictions on activity are needed after the maneuvers are carried out.
“There is no clear evidence to support these restrictions that include sleeping upright and wearing a cervical collar,” Fife said.
