Shakira, Ricky Martin raises money for children’s charity

London – In a charity raising function top Latin artists Ricky martin and Shakira will be performing. This is a fund raising performance for 32m Latin American children living in poverty.
The function would take place in Buenos Aires and Mexico City and will be grace with the presence of more than thousands of viewers.
The earnings of the two events, being held concurrently in Argentina and Mexico, will be going completely to the Latin America in Solidarity Action (Alas) charity.
While Slim is the tele-communications magnate, Howard Buffet is the oldest son of the US investment guru, Warren Buffett.
“Imagine what Latin America could achieve if we invest in developing the potential of these children,” sources quoted
She stated: “The funny thing is that Latin America produces three times what it needs to feed its population. So, it is doable, we can really eradicate poverty.”
It was in 2006 that Alas was launched for commerce with paucity that kills an probable 350,000 children every year in Latin America.
