If your digestive system is not working properly it somehow influences all the body parts and you are not able to concentrate on your work.
During diarrhoea a person is confused what to eat and what to avoid, so he is always in a perplexed state and thus empty stomach proves more harmful, as he is scared to eat anything. This in turn leads to lack of nutrients in the body. Since the body is not getting required balanced food there is lack of important nutrients, vitamins and mineral salts in the body. This leads to severe weakness in the body.
Diarrhoea mainly occurs due to bacterial infection, viral infection or any other kind of germ attack on the digestive system. But there are some other reasons too due to which one can suffer from diarrhoea like shifting of the navel from its original position or stressed mental state etc. There are many options available for curing diarrhoea; if you are not getting any relief from diarrhoea by taking proper medicines then you can go for yogic cures.
Get the Navel investigated
There are many ways by which you can get checked whether the navel is in correct position or not. It would be better that if we call any yogic trained professional who can check and infer whether the diarrhoea is due to shifting of navel or not. There is an easy way to check out the shifting of navel at home also.
Procedure for checking navel shift at home
Lie straight on your back on the floor and keep both your feet close to each other. Now ask someone to measure the distance between the navel and the thumb of your feet with the help of a thread. Measure the distance of both the thumbs of each foot and if there is some difference in the distance, this means the navel has shifted. The distance between the navel and the two thumbs of both the feet should be the same, and then only it will show that the navel is at right position.
Ways to bring navel on the right position
This can be done with the help of some yoga asana. Generally the Nauka asana and Dhanurasana are the best to bring back the navel to its original position.
Nauka asana or the Boat Pose
First lie on the floor straight on your back and keep both the palms on your thighs. Now inhale and start raising both the legs together straight up, so that both the feet are pointing upwards towards the sky. Now slowly raise both your hands or arms and head and shoulders up towards the feet, just like a boat. The legs and the head and the arms should be raised at equal level so that the pose resembles a boat. Stay in this position for sometime say till the count of 20-30 and then slowly return back both the legs and the arms and head too back on the floor in the normal position while exhaling. Repeat this asana fro 3-6 times so that the navel gets back to the original position.
Dhanura asana or the Bow Pose
Lie on the floor on your stomach with your head turned to one side and both the arms on the sides of your body. The palms of both the hands should face upwards. Now turn your head and place the chin on the floor. While exhaling, bend both the legs at the knees and with your right hand hold your right ankle and with the left hand hold the left ankle. Now inhale and lift the legs by pulling the ankles up with both the hands so that the knees get off the floor. Along with this raise the chest also from the floor.
Hold your breath and stay in the inhaling position. The whole body should be resting just on your abdomen. Pull back your head towards your feet as much as you can and stay in this pose as long as you can hold your breath. Now slowly exhale and first bring the knees on the floor and then release the ankles. This will bring both then legs and the arms on the floor. Again keep both the arms on the sides of your body and tilt your head to one side and relax. You should do this pose at least 3-6 times to bring back the navel to its original position.
You can consult some navel specialist too to return it back to its position.
