Replacing a broken tile

For changing the look of the room one good option is to decorate it by tiles. Tiles decoration needs very low cost & maintenance is also easy. A wide range of designer tiles is available in the market. Tiles decoration shows a glorious look to the room but broken tiles change the whole appearance & also cause leakage in the wall. For solving the problem you need not to run behind a plumber, you can do it yourself. You can replace the tiles & can fit other tile on the same surface.
First, you have to collect things which help you for repairing the tiles. The things are grout raker, drill machine, club hammer, cold chisels, gloves & goggles, scraper, adhesive of tiles, spreader & spacer. If these things are with you then start repairing.
With the help of grout raker remove the grout around the tiles. Water or electricity supplies on the wall should be checked. You can use detector for it. Then make a number of holes in the tiles with the help of drill machine, so that the tiles get weaken from the surface. Now it becomes easy & safe to remove the tiles using club hammer & cold chisels without damaging the surrounding area. Remember to wear gloves & goggles for the protection of your hands & eyes from the small particles jumping out during the process.
Now, use scrape to apply hardened adhesive on the surface or wall. Be careful that it should not damage other tiles on the wall. Apply tile adhesive on the back of tiles by spreader. Stick the tiles on the surface carefully. For maintaining grout around gaps use spacer, let it stay for some time. As it gets dried spacer should be removed from the surface.
With less efforts & cost you can easily get original appearance of the wall.
