Procedure of plucking your eyebrows

Before you start the procedure of plucking your eyebrows it is important to moisturize them to decrease the pain that you may experience. You need to be careful if you are plucking your eyebrows without moisturizing as it may be quite painful. Dab some Anbesol on the eyebrow area as it is a very sensitive area. There is another option wherein you can hold a cloth soaked in cold water on the eyebrow prior to plucking them. Before you proceed with the procedure of plucking your eyebrows, make sure you are aware of the shape that you want for the eyebrow. A very important point while plucking is to pluck them in the direction the growth of the hair occurs. You may now get rid of stray or unwanted hairs but remember not to pluck hairs in excess at one time. Make sure to pluck only a single hair at any given time. After you are done with it, massage a relaxing cream on your eyebrows.
Tips for proper plucking of eyebrows:
• Choose a tweezer that has a slanted or pointed tip. Such kinds of tweezers help in giving good results.
• Always make sure to start plucking from beneath the eyebrow line. This will ensure the new hair that grows later will grow in the shape of the arch.
• Shape the eyebrow’s bottom depending on the top part of your eyebrow.
• Always pluck few hairs in the beginning and then halt. Have a look in your mirror and continue the procedure of plucking and keep monitoring your eyebrows closely. You will be able to pluck the extra hairs later but if you unknowingly remove unnecessary hair your eyebrows will look thin, artificial and you will have to wait till new hair grows back to reshape your eyebrows.

If you happen to over pluck your eyebrows don’t panic. You need to choose a natural shade of eye shadow such as brown. Apply this eye shadow firmly and lightly with the help of an eyebrow brush and use sharp strokes on your eyebrows. The new hairs that will grow back will be difficult to manage and to tackle this problem apply a very light coat of a clear mascara on the eyebrows.
