Pregnancy is that gift of God to women wherein she is in a position to deliver or give life to a new offspring. It is the most joyous moment in a woman’s life.
The baby is born approximately 38 weeks after fertilisation has occurred, that is 38 weeks after the ovum and the sperm have met in the woman’s ovaries. The possibilities of delivery of a child may be a single child, twins, triplets or quadruplets rarely.

Growth:
The growth doesn’t stop there. The baby continues to grow and occupies almost the entire uterus. The woman usually gets tired during this period of pregnancy since the baby has almost taken the entire area in the belly and she starts feeling heavier and heavier day by day. In this period swelling of ankles and legs are seen due to excess stress.
Symptoms:
There is a sense of oedema seen in most women which is a common sign in pregnancy.
