Beautiful ponds and waterfall are really very eye-catching and can dazzle anyone with their cool and calm effects. Good-looking ponds as well as waterfalls are state as well as the symbol of peace and serenity. If you have a pond in your garden, then with the benefit of its good-looks you can also add humidity in your garden that is very beneficial for plants. The existence of pond attracts insects and birds to the garden and thus your garden become more nature friendly. The waterfall with rocks and natural stones improve your garden dramatically. The sound of water falling down from waterfall is very pleasant to listen.
As they are the attractions of your garden, so choose wisely the right location to build them. Try to choose a place that does not have any leaves shed over pond or waterfall. In addition, place with direct sunlight is very good because the sunlight help water to be shining and clean. You can also add water plants in your ponds or waterfall like lotus, water-lilies etc to make them more striking. Beautiful and colorful fishes can also make your pond as well as garden elegant.
It is easier to make pond in your garden as compared to waterfall. Start with the help of spade and dig out the earth wide and deep, as per your desire for the size and shape of pond in the garden. To store water in the pond, the best option is pond liner. Always prefer the liners that have enough quality and thickness to prevent tearing in future. Be sure about the smoothness of side walls and bottom of the pond before applying liner. Thereafter, you can decorate your pond as per your desire with plants, stones etc. Then fill the pond with clear water.
If you prefer to have waterfall in your garden then you have to do a bit hard work. As the waterfall is quite difficult to built, it requires extra effort to do so. The location with slopes in your garden is best for waterfall. Whether you choose pond or waterfall, both have water and thus they can add sounds, aesthetics and rhythm in order to enrich your garden.
