Rheumatoid-ArthritisA common illness among old people, Arthritis is a disease that needs attention. It is caused by an inflammation or swelling of the joints and damage to the surrounding tissues, muscle strain and fatigue.

The pain that goes with the illness is unbearable and immediate relief is needed when it attacks. Arthritis is also caused by having toxic build-up in your joints, fluids and muscles and making them continuously accumulate.

Although most people believe that the pain associated with having arthritis is triggered by the weather, this has not been supported by scientific studies.

Medicines that provide relief from arthritis pain include Tylenol. It can also relieve you from minor aches and pain due to colds, toothache, muscle pains, back ache, menstrual cramps as well as help in lowering body fever.

The symptoms of arthritis include morning stiffness as well as swelling of joints. Abnormalities in nails, skin lesions and joint pains are also some of the symptoms indicating psoriatic arthritis. Other symptoms, especially of rheumatoid arthritis, include high fever, abdominal pain, pain in the eye area and having red eyes.

The more common relief from arthritis is the use of a patch called Salonpas. It is proven effective and does not have side effects that pills may have since it is an external treatment.

You will feel the relief after applying it for an hour but in some cases, it can take as long as two to three hours depending on the severity of the pain that you experience.

There are many over-the-counter medicines and treatments that can be used for arthritis. Just take extra caution when you use them. It will always be best to consult your doctor on the best treatment for the kind of arthritis that you have.

One thing that you should note when choosing your over-the-counter treatment is the effect that it will have on your general health. If you take some pills, you have to know how they will affect your liver during the process.

You may get rid of arthritis but will have a serious liver or kidney problem in future.  This is something that you may not want.

With your knowledge of the causes, symptoms, relief and treatment, it will be easier to handle this case and you will be in a better position to let go of the arthritis that bothers you.

Oh no fun at all! My sister in law has arthritis and fibromyalgia and suffers from it’s effects every day. She has a tough time dealing with inflammation and soreness and was feeling pretty stressed a few months ago because she felt as though she was relying too much on oral pain meds. I told her about my favorite natural pain cream from Topricin and let her borrow some….she loves it! I am so happy for her that it is helping with her aches and inflammation! Thanks for the good read.

A reason for joint pain could be bursitis. It refers to inflammation of the bursae. The bursae are sacs filled with fluids. They act as cushions allowing free and smooth movement of muscles and tendons over the bones.
