Now obese can be sexually active

Washington, May 15 (IANS) The recent research has found that gastric bypass surgery not only helps morbidly over weight shed surplus kilos, but also helps people to explore their sexual powers.
As per the procedure, It reduces calorie intake by decreasing the stomach size there by decreasing the food intake. These studies are based in the evidences on 95 patients who in past have gone through gastric bypass for weight loss. They also completed the Brief Sexual Inventory (BSI) pre- and post-operation.
Scholars from Boston and Philadelphia Universities conducted the study. BSI or Brief Sexual Inventory scores enhanced in all categories, including sexual libido, erectile functioning, ejaculatory functioning, problem evaluation and sexual fulfillment.
“This study shows that weight loss and other risk factors which are alleviated by weight loss may be keys to restoring sexual function,’ commented Anthony Y. Smith, M.D. ‘These results give men another reason to improve their health by losing weight.’ These findings are to be accessible at the 103rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Urological Association
