Normally, people prefer to do exercises to lose weight, increase stamina, relax the body and feel energetic. Out of many parts of our body, neck is one that is neglected during exercise.
Neck exercises are as significant as other exercises for body parts. Due to the hectic schedules and long sitting jobs, our neck works hard and at the end of day it pains a lot. Generally, we ignore and take it as a minor pain. In addition, we try some pain killers or ointments for message of our neck.
This neglecting can be a cause of future neck problems. It is the neck that holds our skull and body together. There are two muscles present that are attached to the bottom of the skull and downwards to the human’s shoulders that act as the main support for the neck. In addition, they also work as the back of the neck. The sides of the neck are supported by other pair of very large muscles that are attached to the skull that lies immediately behind the ears and goes down to the collarbone. However, this pair of large muscle is braced by small ones but the strength and contour of the neck is mainly dependent upon its key support. If these muscles are developed poorly, then the whole neck and its sides will appear unsymmetrical and weak. It results into skin crease and give a nasty look.
For removing these wrinkles some type of packs are available in the market and massage through palms will also produce good results. But these are only temporary treatments, in order to remove these hideous wrinkle and pain from neck there are some exercises. By the help of these easy exercises a lot of neck problems can be removed.
Now, here is some description about those exercises.
Exercises for neck:
To get a firm neck, this exercise is really effective and strengthening. The procedure is as follows: Firstly, lay on the flat surface and put pillow under your neck, then clap your hands at the back of your head. Now, raise your head at the plain of the pillow and then press it back at the downward, exerting the pressure by your arms in forward direction at the same time. Have same movements five times and then relax.
And to develop side muscles, just turn your chin as much as you can towards your upper shoulder. This movement puts some tension on the neck muscles extending to the throat muscles and this in turn contracts them for a while. When the head is pressed back to the original position then they relax. Through this procedure of regular contraction and relaxation muscles get toned up and become stronger.
The main aim behind any of the neck exercises is to make neck muscles strong and flexible with perfect functioning without any pain and flabby skin.
