Men’s Innerwear

Men’s innerwear fashion is on the high rise in India and fashion has come full circle from medieval times, when men wore much the same as women, attired in fancy, brightly coloured, embroidered finery, with lace at their throats and at their wrists. Think back to silk tights and laces men wore, without detracting from their masculinity. And, while one won’t catch men today, parading round in tights and laces, you can be sure that underneath they are probably wearing the latest trends in men’s innerwear.
Undershirts today are stylish, sleeveless tunics fashioned out of bright satin silks. When, choosing men’s lingerie, one now comes across soft, smooth as butter, silky fabrics in all the pastel hues of the rainbow and more. Men’s innerwear no longer comes in just black and white, but even in siren-hot reds, electric blues and royal purples. As in women’s underwear, men are also going in for underwear designed to seduce.
The classic banyan has been transformed into a short-sleeved or sleeveless tunic made from soft materials in pastel hues or bright colours. They even come embellished with embroidery and lace to accent.
Men’s briefs come in various shapes and styles, but the most popular and the most comfortable are the boxer shorts in cotton, silk, satin or stretch fabrics. Some are even padded like women’s padded bras for those not so well-endowed. Don’t be startled, hark back to the days of the Renaissance when men wore cod pieces in their breeches to pad and enlarge their masculinity.
We even have bikini and jock shorts for those who like underwear that is more fitted. However, these are not recommended for regular use due to reasons of hygiene, but are recommended only for seducing that special lady in your life.
From ear-studs, to jewellery to men’s innerwear taking pointers from women’s lingerie, men’s fashion is becoming more and more unisex and taking notes of history for yester year styles and designs in men’s clothing and underwear!
