There are people who treat masturbation as a disease but in reality there are several health benefits of masturbation. But before going into the deep of the word “masturbation”, it is important to understand what masturbation actually is?

When it comes to masturbation then it is normally defined as a process of self- stimulation which results in sexual sensations. The word “masturbation” is mainly referred to as manipulation of genitals by a person for getting deep sexual pleasure.

Benefits:

Biological studies as done by various scientists revealed that, if men prefer to do masturbation on a frequent basis, then they can reduce the threat of prostate cancer to a large extent. Additionally, it also provides enthusiasm to a person and the efficiency to do various kinds of works. Masturbation is said to provide the sort of zeal in a person and additionally it provides the feeling of being at the top of the world. It also helps in thrashing out negative thoughts from the mind and a person can overcome the stage of depression in a quick period of time.

There are numerous health benefits of masturbation as stated above. If a person is not getting proper sleep, then with the help of masturbation he can attain a proper sleep which results in mental and physical well being of a person. In females, in the condition of menstrual cramps, it can provide a huge relief and eases the indications of premenstrual syndrome. Masturbation also provides positive results in the condition of depression and in the special cases of psychological disorders like insomnia. If there is no proper inflow and out flow of blood in the body then it can maintain a proper circulation of blood in the body. It is also believed that it can provide cardiovascular workout to the body which is not scientifically proved till now. If a person is suffering from obesity then masturbation can help him/her a lot because, it has the capability to burn the calories present in the body.

In addition to health benefits of masturbation it also helps people to understand their sexual demands. If people are of shy nature, then masturbation of frequent nature provides them the experience that they can use tom make their life filled with sexual pleasure. It is perfectly safe for both the sexes and for the people of all age groups. It is also believed that masturbation promotes sexual perversion, stunted growth and neurotic disorders which are totally a wrong belief.
