After a day’s hard work and stress, one wants some peace, pampering, rest and relaxation. So what is the best way of getting rid of all the stress and get rejuvenated? A good cup pf coffee will make you feel better, but all that caffeine is so not good for health. The best way to relax is to get a massage. You can walk into a spa, relax and come out fresh and fit.
Massage therapy is one of the oldest from of “hands on” therapy. Massage manipulates the stressed tissue on the body, making you relaxed and stress free. Massage has verities of benefits.

Most important of all it calms the nerves and gives you a sense of peace.
In massage therapy only hands are used. Fingers, thumb, palms are involved in massage therapy. Tips of the fingers are used for light strokes. Thumbs on the other hand are used for small areas composed of stressed tissues. For stretching as well as manipulating the tissues, the heel of the hands is used.
What type of massage you would go for depends entirely on what you want from the massage. For example if you wish to have relaxation, then go for the holistic forms of massage, which involves aromatic oils. But if you have any kind of muscle injury then sports massage is your thing.
Massage not only makes you rejuvenated and stress free; it is also beneficial for skin. Massaging the facial skin will increase the blood circulation and keep the skin healthy. Other than that, massage can also help you tone and keep your body in proper shape. If not every week, try to go to a spa in every fifteen days.
However there are times when you should avoid massage. People suffering from cancer and HIV should avoid getting a massage form any ordinary spa as the therapist need well skill. Other than that one should not have a massage if one has fever, chronic back pain or any form of skin infection.
