Many uses of Lipstick

It never seems to fail that something has to happen to your favorite lipstick. You search and search for months trying to find the right shade in the right blend and then, the sun melts it or maybe you accidently left it next to the curling iron. Either way, do not throw it away.
This is when it comes in handy to always have a lipstick brush as part of your makeup kit. You can simply apply your lipstick with the brush. This way, you don’t have to throw away your favorite lipstick and you still get that beautiful color on your lips.
Another great use for your lipstick is to blend and mix it with some Vaseline. This may sound somewhat crazy to you but it makes a great lip gloss in a pinch. If you use Vaseline for your lips as a barrier from the elements and to keep them soft, this is a great idea to add some color to it. Not only are you protecting your lips but, you will get a great shine at the same time.
And, believe it or not, you can also use your lip stick as a blush. Sometimes trying to find a blush that goes with your lipstick can be a little troublesome. By simply using a swipe of your lipstick on your cheekbone and then blending it in will solve that problem. But be careful, this can clog your pores and if you have sensitive skin, this could cause acne.
As you can see, there are many different uses that you can get out of a tube of lipstick. If you have decided to try and use it as a lip gloss, try blending several different colors to get a unique shade that you have created all your own.
Experiment with the options that you have before throwing away a tube. This will not only save you a few dollars but will also give you a look that may appeal to you and give you a new and exciting way to use your makeup.
