The Pondicherry schedule of ‘Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam’ came to a deadlock when thousands flocked the set to have a glance of Bollywood’s most sought after sexy appealing woman Mallika Sherawat, who plays the female lead in the film and producer Ratan Jain forced to take help of 100 security men to keep them at bay.
Confirming the incident, Ratan said that they really needed them as the situation had become slightly desperate and before that could have gone out of hand. The producer immediately made arrangement for 100 security men as Mallika, being the lead actress of the film. It was his responsibility to make a security arrangement and it was his duty to see that there is optimum safety as a producer as he added further. Ratan hired a local agency for her protection.
Jain’s repeated pleas to the people for keeping their distance fell on deaf ears and the crowd just did not budge, resisting to keep their hands off Mallika.
‘This practically brought the shooting to a stalemate. Fans kept rushing towards Mallika and refused to leave her alone and no matter what they did, they refused to leave the place and attempted to come closer for a glace of the actress as stated by a unit member.
After ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’, the new film is Mallika’s second film with Indian actor Rahul Bose and both the actors got along splendidly as co-stars.
