And, imagine a whole lot of lies spread about you, even as you are hounded out of your own home through no fault of yours. No need to dial the women’s help line because we are not talking about female dowry harassment, rather the topic is male dowry harassment.
How is one to cope if one is put behind bars for a crime one swears one has not committed? While, the Dowry Act was enacted to prevent women from becoming the victims of dowry harassment, today many unscrupulous women are using it for their own ends. This has resulted in these hapless sufferers also having a help line to turn to for succour
