A good foundation is the first step in beginning a makeover. Most women have too much yellow in their skin and it is important to avoid using colors such as pink and orange as they react negatively with the skin and create a two-toned look.
To achieve a more natural look, a yellow based foundation should be used. It will make your skin look flawless and match your complexion well.
Gel cleansers must be used for oily skin. A moisturizer with SPF 15 is highly recommended for people with all different skin types and colors. Apply a moisturizer to the skin after your shower to seal in the natural moisture and achieve a healthier look and glowing skin.
Lipstick may be applied using a lip brush as it controls the amount that is applied. To achieve a natural look, use a light lip gloss. Lip gloss containing vitamin E should be used to condition your lips and protect them from becoming dry and chapped.
Always choose a proper foundation to help achieve the perfect look you have always wanted. Test the color of the foundation before purchasing it. Look for a yellow based foundation that matches the skin tone well. The foundation sets the base for eye shadow, blush and all other forms of makeup that are applied.
It is important to practice and master proper eye shadow application techniques. Light colors highlight your features. The lightest color should be applied as the base on the upper eyelid and a medium shade can be applied to the lower eyelid.
A finished look can be achieved by using a darker shade in the outer corners of both eyes. Use eyeliner; move from the center of the eye out to the corners. Finish your makeup with mascara.
