Makeup for Cool Skin Dark Hair

Pale-skinned brunettes can look fabulous by application of strong, cool shades of cosmetics. The skin color of pale-skinned brunettes gets highlighted with the cool shades of cosmetics as compared to ivory skin-tones woman. However, a few things need to be kept in mind:
Determining the skin tone is of the utmost importance. Look at the skin under your arm, which doesn’t get much sun and pinch. Look carefully if the tone is reddish-orange, pinkish-blue, yellowish, peachy, or reddish-blue. Determine your natural skin color, by looking at the colors. Once the skin tone is decided choosing makeup is easy.
Choose Foundation, Powder, and Blush
Choosing the correct powder, foundation, and blush that match the skin tone is most important, as it should not look fake on the face. Then look for something cool, neutral, and warm but is natural.
Choose Colors
For a natural look, choose colors that are the same as your skin. For a cool skin tone, a violet color is preferred than other possible color groups.
Makeup Shades
People, who have cool skin tones such as ebony, dark olive, rosy-beige, dark brown, or rosy-pink skin tones, mostly have black, green, or blue eyes. As such, eye shades that are a combination of blue and red, leading to a violet look are ideal.
People with cool skin tones, should look for hair colors such as blacks, dark browns, or platinum blondes. The blushes should have pinkish undertones, rather than earthier orange undertones.
For lipsticks, choosing pinker lipsticks or those with bluish/violet undertones is better. If you have medium to dark brown hair; the eyes are brown, blue, grey or green; and a cool skin tone, then follow the below makeup tips
Doing Makeup
Apply Foundation: Apply a tinted foundation or moisturizer, that comes with a pale shade and blend it with a few dots of blusher. Later dust off the loose powder.
Apply Eye shadow: Apply a cool ivory shadow on the eyelids, right up to the eyebrows, and then use a cotton gauge to blend it with the skin color in the creases. Adding mocha eye shadow on the eyelids gives the eyes more appeal.
Apply Mascara: Apply two thin coats of black mascara on eyelashes to give a slight tamed but striking look in your eyes. Stop the mascara from clogging, by wiggling the mascara wand from side to side.
Shaping Eyebrows: Shape the eyebrows’ with an eyebrow brush; hold them in place by putting a little hairspray on the brush.
Applying Lipstick: Apply any shade of berry lipstick that gives the face a polished finish. After one coat use a tissue, to remove the excess, and then reapply the lipstick in a lighter manner.
