Make Your Own Eid Greeting Card

The holiest month of the Muslim calendar, Ramadan is a time when Muslims fast for the entire month and sent each other Eid greeting cards to strengthen the bonds of universal brotherhood to friends and family. Whatever, ones religious affiliation, it doesn’t hurt to spread goodwill and bonhomie by celebrating Ramadan and Eid with your Muslim friends. Catch the mood and make your own Eid greeting cards to convey your best wishes to them.
You don’t have to spend a whole lot of your hard-earned money on buying greeting cards, simply make your own or send a free online greeting or e-card. If, you are interested in making your own, you will need the following materials that one can easily get from a craft shop:
Scalloped-edge scissors, hole punch, decorative hole-punch, craft knife, bone folder (optional), dimensional paint, rubber stamp, embossing powder, embossing heat-gun, and you are read to go.
Begin with card stock, folding it in half across its width. Use a bone folder or flat tool to get a sharp crease. Use the scalloped-edged scissors to scallop the outer edge, carefully lining up the cuts for a continuous pattern around the perimeter. After you have scalloped the edges, use the decorative hole punch to create a pattern. Using cookie cutter, colouring book or template designs or even freehand, cut out shapes and figures, which you can glue on to the card or use foam double stick tape to add dimension and raise the figure or shape. Using dimensional paint, decorate the card or emboss the card with the help of a rubber stamp and embossing powder. Use the heat gun to dry the embossing powder. Or else, use your craft knife to cut slits around the border and create a basket weave frame round the main design, and then weave a contrasting strip in and out of the slits.
Now that you have made your own Eid greeting card, print your message, whether you would like to say Eid Mubarak or May Allah Bless You On This Joyous Occasion Of Eid!

Or, you can create your own card using Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, PhotoImpact or any other progamme that includes layers and text effect.
