Lurpak-World’s Best Butter
History: LURPAK butter was registered for the first time in 1888. This makes this Danish butter one of the oldest brands of butter in the world. In 1879, LURPAK butter was crowned proclaimed the best quality butter in the world in a World Exhibition held in London.
Manufacturing: LURPAK butter is made using the fresh cream and has a natural, lactic, creamy taste. From the butter making machine this butter is directly packed in alufoil wraps which offers best protection against light. This keeps the butter fresh during shipment and storage.
Types: LURPAK butter is available in two types: Slightly Salted and Unsalted.
· Slightly Salted: LURPAK Slightly Salted Butter can be used on sandwiches, melted over potatoes or even used with pavbaji.
· Unsalted: LURPAK Unsalted Butter is widely used by chefs and home cooks as it complements cooking perfectly. Unsalted LURPAK Butter is considered an indispensible part of cooking and baking.
Unique: LURPAK is a lactic butter, which is different from sweet cream butters produced domestically. The main differences between LURPAK Butter and sweet cream butter are that LURPAK Butter is less greasy with creamy taste. Its colour is paler than sweet cream butter and it is slightly acidulous. Its taste is also milder than sweet cream butter.
