Learn to say no to paying full retail price for the latest and the newest in fashion clothes, shoes, cosmetics, gadgets etc. etc, One can still shop for great-quality products buying low-cost economy items, buying the best at store sales, auction sites, factory outlets, and consignment stores. Why buy the latest in new and improved though expensive versions of cell phones, computers, digital systems, and cameras. Wait a bit and soon as something newer or better arrives on the scene, the price of the gadget you wanted will drop to half.
One doesn’t have to get into serious credit card debt to satisfy one’s urge for caviar, champagne, decadent desserts, and other luxe stuff. No one is asking you to live miserably on a low budget, no one is asking you to scrimp, only to save and be creative to achieve a posh lifestyle - on a shoestring!
Why pay full price for clothes, simply log on to a few websites that offer brand-name bargains. There are many sites that post deals and where prices are slashed on designer items from Prada, Donna Karan, Moschino, and Calvin Klein merchandise.
Dine like a queen by buying small quantities and alternatives of coveted items like a $6 jar of salmon roe instead of sturgeon, to make caviar omelettes for breakfast.
You don’t have to go to a beauty salon and splurge your hard-earned bucks for a night out on the town. Simply, pair up with a friend and help each other with washing, deep-conditioning and blow-drying each other’s hair, give each other manicures and pedicures, help each other wax unwanted hair, and get salon-style coifs for free, including spending some quality girl time together.
Entertaining friends at home make the costs really add up. Instead, host a brunch in place of a fancy dinner party. Serve sparkling wine along with a buffet of simple yet sophisticated foods, such as sliced fruit, bagels with smoked salmon, and poached eggs. Use your own crockery and linen napkins in place of paper ones, which helps you spend less without without scrimping your style.

For an adventure filled life, cut short TV watching which will cut short your cable bill. Don’t shop for a pick-me-up or an ego boost, instead go for a walk, talk with a friend, or head to your local library and shop there, to feel better. Get a roommate or move into a smaller home to cut short mortgage – your biggest expense. Instead, of buying pre-prepared goods at the grocery store, do it yourself at home and save mega bucks!
