Lipstick is a cosmetic product used to give colour to your lips. It beautifies the look of your lips and makes you look attractive. Without applying lipstick, your make-up is incomplete. Along with the lipstick, you should also apply lip liner, which comes in a pencil form. Lip liner is used to draw an outline on the lips before coloring the lipstick. To finish your lip make-up, you have to use a lip gloss. This is a cosmetic product which is used to give your lips a shinning look.
How to apply lipstick: Follow the steps given below:
• First of all you have to draw an outline on your lips with a sharpened lip liner. Your hands should be steady and draw a light line around your lips, making it lighter on the edges.
• Use a base on the lips, either a face powder or any special base or balancer.
• Next use a brush (preferable) and apply the lipstick.
• You can apply a second coat of lipstick if you desire. But before you do that, take a clean tissue paper; place it between your lips after folding it. Now press your lips together lightly. This will help you to remove any excess color.
• Now apply your lip gloss to give your lips the glossy, shiny and gleaming look.
If you have a small mouth with small lips, then you draw the liner outside your original lip line and fill it with lipstick.
If you have large mouth with full lips, then you draw the liner inside the natural contours of your mouth. Apply lipstick carefully within this outline.
If you have a full upper lip, draw the liner inside the contour of your upper lip and fill with dark shade of lipstick. Then draw a liner outside the lip line on the lower lips and fill it with lighter shade of lipstick.
If you have full lower lip, draw the liner outside the lip line on the upper lip and apply a light shade of lipstick. Then draw the liner inside your lip line and fill it with darker shade of lipstick.
If you have a wide mouth, use a lip brush and apply the lipstick on your mouth. Stop a few millimeters from the corners of your mouth.
