Learn to apply waterproof mascara

If you ask me what was the best invention in the world of fashion – I would say waterproof cosmetics – specially the eye makeup. Now no matter what the season is, you can wear your eye makeup and it will remain intact.
All you sports women out there, I am sure that came as a big relief for you.
My favourite is the waterproof mascara. I can wear it for hours and it does not smudge or wash off.
But I have to admit, cleaning or removing waterproof mascara is kind of difficult. Because of being waterproof, the water and soap does not have much of an effect on them.
So how do you remove this tough cosmetic? You have to be careful while cleaning the eye makeup, or else there is a possibility you may end up losing some of those beautiful eye lashes of yours.
Even today the most popular and widely used method of cleaning mascara is water and soap. This is effective, even though the experts do not recommend this.
But like I said, soap and water hardly has any impact on the waterproof mascara, so bits of it can remain on the lashes.
To clean the mascara off, you need to have a few things at hand – some cotton balls and some swabs of cotton, a good water proof makeup remover and a good cleanser. Once you have all of these, you are ready to go.
Take a cotton swab and damp it well with some eye makeup remover. Place that underneath your lashes. Now press the lashes against the ball of cotton.
Hold that position for a while; there is no need to rub the lashes. Press the lashes against the cottons for at least 30 seconds. By this time the cleanser will remove the makeup.
Now slowly wipe the cotton swab. Wipe them upwards. That should do the trick.
Make sure you do no rub your lashes with your cotton. In that process, you will not only lose some of the lashes, but at the same time you will also injure the sensitive skin around the eyes.
