Juhi Chawla in Kismet

Juhi Chawla will play a crystal ball reader, a la Whoopi Goldberg of Ghost, in Aziz Mirza’s latest launch Kismet Konnection (nope, we did not misspell it!).
Juhi’s role in this movie is a pivotal one. Aziz Mirza states, “In the film, Juhi reads a crystal ball to predict the future. However, I wanted to use this character very responsibly so that no wrong ideas are propagated through her. Also, I had to be careful since I hadn’t decided whether she would be genuine or fraud in the film.”
According to the director, even though Juhi’s character is extremely integral to the story, he himself is not into palmistry or astrology, neither has he believed this stuff! He says, “It was an essential character in the film and I was very clear that I didn’t want someone who will have a long snoopy beard.
Juhi played the character perfectly and I just had to make a call to her. She is perfect in the film and I am glad that I went by my instincts. I am very close to Juhi. She’s almost like my child,” he adds further.
