A man walked towards his wife and said “My friends complimented me. They are jealous of me that I have very beautiful wife. You look elegant in traditional outfit, they told me. I feel very proud.” Well! The reality is that his friends are only complimenting his wife’s traditional attire, yet what is wrong behind such spicy lies, if his wife feels good.
Most of the partners tell lies in several situations when they do not want to hurt the feeling of their spouse or if they want to win his/her heart. Sweet words with love and affection make bond of relationship stronger.
Everyone suffers from this common disease of lying. However, if anyone tells lie effortlessly, instinctively, impulsively without any real reason, then he/she may be in a problem that requires immediate solution or treatment. Such disease is called as compulsive lying and it is a kind of disorder.
How you find a compulsive liar?
If someone speaks false more then normal person then he/she is a compulsive liar. These kinds of persons cannot speak truth more or they try to bend truth unintentionally. This disorder mainly develops in childhood. If the child grows-up in an environment where lies are in routine, he/she speedy gets influenced from such surroundings and become a liar.
If someone finds that lies can reduce conflicts to high extent, prevent unnecessary pain and heartache, allows sustaining privacy and avoids lots of conflicts, then the person starts lying without any personal or cunning basis.
Measures to get rid from compulsive lying:
If your partner is suffering from such disorder of compulsive lying, reveal this truth to him/her. Though it would be harsh for him/her to hear such truth but it is sure that it is going to prove beneficial for him/her in the future. Your partner can also disagree on your statement or he/she become angry on you for your spying. But still you should try to speak the truth. Make your spouse understand that you are with him/her and you love your partner irrespective of his/her weakness. In addition, it is also important to help your spouse recover from such a bad habit. .
Who are the major victims of the compulsive liar?
The main victim of compulsive liar is the person’s individuality, his/her life and life of other persons around. They accidentally introduce problems for themselves as well as for their family.
