Fatty Liver is one of the most common Liver diseases in the world. While most believe that a diet rich in fat leads to a fatty liver, malnutrition and excess stress may also augment such conditions. Having a fatty liver means that the liver cells are stored with excess fat which can not be broken down by the liver. Apparently harmless, fatty liver may further set an introduction to life threatening diseases like Hepatitis, cirrhosis of liver or even liver cancer.

Fatty liver is generally caused by an overdose of alcohol along with an unhealthy diet rich in junk food. However, high diabetes or certain drugs may also introduce the early symptoms of non alcoholic steatohepatitis in human beings.
