The Giant of India, The great Khali who represents India in the WWE, stands 7 ft 3 inches and weights 190 kg. This WWE superstar is in India on a promotional tour for channel TEN Sports and has just walked away with the International Body Building Award. He’s been in the country for a month now and used the chance to enclose up two films – Rama The Savior and Kushti – that would open later this year.
“I play a pahelwan in both the films,” he says. His movies In Rama. He’s a super human whom six children stagger upon as on a treasure hunt.
“It also features Tanushree Dutta,” he reminds you with a smirk. In Kushti he is a wrestler who battles Rajpal Yadav to win the hand of the foremost lady Nargis.
Khali is prepared to do everything including dancing. His price He supposedly charged a whopping Rs 15 crore for four days of shooting for Rama and though his price for Kushti is not known, he has been quoted as saying that “I’m a big guy, so why not aim for big money?” His next Hollywood film, Get Smart, will be released in India soon. The great Khali joins a cast that comprises of fellow wrestler The Rock and Bill Murray.
Is he planning to shift base, from the US to India? Khali isn’t certain but he plans to open “a world-class gym and a wrestling school” in India.
