Many people who have to deal with asthma attacks feel like they are fish out of water. This pretty much sums up the experiences that asthma sufferers have to deal with.
When people have an asthma attack, they have to gulp for air because they are unable to get enough air into their lungs. It can really be quite frightening.
If you or someone you know has asthma then you know how debilitating this condition can be. But having asthma does not have to be debilitating.
Some people have chronic asthma. They are unable to get immediate relief because they do not know the cause of their condition which makes it even harder to treat the respiratory problems that accompany the illness.
You may not realize that the allergens that cause people to react during the summertime can also be linked to chronic asthma. This type of asthma is referred to as CRC or Candida overgrowth. Candida is a fungus that can cause people to suffer from respiratory problems that range from allergies to asthma. It can cause a person’s immunity to weaken.
When people undergo asthma treatment, the first thing that their doctor will do is test them to find out everything that they are allergic to. This is done by taking an electro dermal test.
People with asthma may be advised to eliminate dairy products and certain grains such as products that contain wheat and yeast. These products contain some of the most common allergic triggers.
Once these food groups have been eliminated, the next step is to evaluate the person’s living environment. Asthma sufferers will need to keep their homes clean and free of dust.
Dust is a primary trigger of allergic reactions. The person may also need to stay away from certain fabrics such as polyester. They may need to purchase an air purifier as well.
