You just got rid of the acne on your face, when it raises its ugly head leaving you wondering as to how to get rid of the pimples on your back. What many don’t know is that the back is made up innumerable sebaceous glands that produce and excess of oil. Apart from that little known fact, the back is one body part that usually remains covered, is quite inaccessible, and receives the most physical pressure of all areas of the body. This means, skin pores on the back are more prone to getting clogged with dirt and sweat, which one finds hard to clean. If, that wasn’t enough, acne on the back is usually of the acute form, all cysts and nodules that make treating back acne very hard though not entirely impossible.

We can solve the first problem to an extent by avoiding fast food, maintaining a balanced diet, upping our water intake and exercising. The whole body process can be balanced by getting rid of toxins and extra hormones, while exercising increases the blood circulation which allows the skin to absorb more oxygen and give it a healthy glow.
To prevent back acne caused by heavy sweating after strenuous exercise, one should wear loose, light clothing made from cotton not Lycra or wool which only trap the sweat which irritates the skin, aggravating the problem. After strenuous exercise, it is important to shower to remove the sweat, using any cleanser that contains salicylic acid and applying benzyl peroxide to treat the acne on your back.
Other ways to help prevent acne on the back is to dress only after you have dried your back completely. You can also use clay masks or salt scrubs to free clogged pores of oil and dirt and transform soften rough, dry skin. If, the acne on your back is inflamed, treat it with antibiotics, topical retinoid or cortisone injections. You must also ensure that you stay away from hot and clammy surroundings.
You will find that as long as you keep to the above, the acne on your back will either remain under control or improve and disappear altogether, depending on how severe the problem is!
