How to Increase Height
Height is a very important factor in one’s appearance. Where a person with good height stands out of the crowd, a person with short height cannot make an impressive impact on others. There is no doubt that genes play a very important role in determining the height of a person.
It is the somatrotroic hormone related to the pituitary gland in the brain which increases the height of a person. If this gland is inactive, it can lead to dwarfism, but if it is overactive, it can result in gigantism.
During teens, children try out various exercises and even medicines in order to increase their height. It is not necessary that every individual increase height through this means. But today’s young generation is becoming more and more conscious about increasing height, and they go to every extreme to achieve good height.
Keep the following tips in mind to achieve a better height. Remember that during your teens, your body is at growing stage; therefore it is very important to take care of what you eat. Balanced, healthy, and nutrient-rich diets can surely help you to achieve a good appearance by boosting your height.
Stretching exercises can also help a lot to increase your height, but these exercises are more effective if they are done early in the morning. Even cycling, swimming, playing tennis and badminton can really help to increase your height if they are done on a regular basis.
Relaxed and proper amounts of sleep can also help a lot to increase height because sleeping results in relaxing the brain, which in turn helps to release the growth hormone. If the brain is tired, less growth hormone is released. If a disciplined and right lifestyle is followed, it can have a positive effect on the height.
Toxic substances should be strictly avoided; never skip meals as these things can have a negative effect on the height. Remember that your body grows well if you follow a decent lifestyle. These things really pay off in the long run by providing you with a very healthy lifestyle.
