How to co-ordinate your style

Who does not want to look smart and stylish? But in order to look stylish, you have to carefully choose what you wear and what accessory you use. And at the same time when you are dressing up, do keep in mind what occasion you are dressing up for. Another point that needs to be mentioned is that your outfit and your accessory tell about your personality.
If you are dressing up for office then it is time to put away all the gorgeous and flashy outfits. Do not wear too bright or dark color. For girls the makeup should be light. Put on a light color lip stick and eye-liner and you are ready to go.
If you are dressing up for a party, then your first concern will be the time of the party. If you are out for lunch then try to stick to the light shades of colors, but make sure you team it up with the right makeup and accessory. Go for a darker shade of lipstick and thick eye liner. It is better to avoid using lip gloss during the day.
If you have a dinner date or party then you can always take out a dark colored outfit from your closet. Be generous in applying makeup.
While dressing up, you better be careful about the color of the dress.
If you have a dark complexion, then it is better to avoid dark colors as the color will make your complexion look darker. For people with fair complexion, choosing a color will not be a difficult task, but for a dinner party, it is better to pick up a dark color.
After choosing the cloths, come the accessories. Make sure the shoes and the bags match with the color of the dress. Black is a neutral color that can be teamed up with almost any color. But that does not mean you have the liberty to carry a black bag or a wear a black shoe with any color. Your bag can be of the same color as your dress, but the shoe can be one shade lighter or darker. You can always go for contrast, but do not over do it by mixing up two extreme contrast colors.
Last but not the list, you can always take help of the local fashion magazines to see what is in and trendy at the moment. And then you can pick your style.
