Let’s face it…it is hard to look sexy wearing winter clothing. We all want to look good but we also need to protect ourselves from that wicked winter air. We don’t want to get sick from exposing too much skin but we do want to look good, don’t we? Read on for secrets on how you can be sexy and warm at the same time.
Everyone needs a pair of knee length boots so go ahead and get them now. Wearing them makes it possible to wear short skirts in the winter. You do want to wear socks or stockings under them, though, to protect you from getting a chill. Boots can also be paired with jeans (even if they have slits up the side).
Buy pointed-toe shoes
Shoes with pointed toes are the next best things to those sexy boots. These shoes can go anywhere and will always be fashionable. They really know how to dress up an otherwise boring outfit. They may not be the most comfortable shoes around but they will look sexy. Just be sure to keep plenty of comfortable shoes in your closet, as well, for those days when you don’t have anyone to impress.
Well-made, fitted coats and jackets are classy
When you go coat shopping, you need to remember to try on a coat with what you would normally wear underneath it. Look at its effect in the mirror for a long time and make sure it fits correctly. The best looking coat for winter wear is one made of wool that fits your body to perfection.
The color of the coat you pick should depend on what you already have. If you already have a good black coat, then that one will do for a while longer. Stock up on your basic colors first (and consider if the color you choose will match most of your outfits).
Camel is a nice color that goes with many other colors so it would probably be a good choice for you if you already have black. Just make sure it has a great fit and looks good on you.
