How to appear taller

Please don’t get offended by this friendly article if you are short because there is nothing wrong with being short, adorable, and cute! But, if you are not happy with your short stature, then I am here to share some advice on how to con people into thinking you are an amazon.
Wear single-colored attire
Wearing single colors all over makes, you look taller. Contrasting colors break your height and make you look shorter. If you want to wear more than one color, then try carrying a different colored purse or wearing a different colored accessory. One way to add zing to your outfit is to contrast fabrics (blue silk pants with blue chiffon blouse).
Accessorize
Accessories can work to lengthen your look. Opt for long necklaces over short ones or dangly earrings over small studs. Try wearing a scarf with one side hanging down or an unbuttoned sweater.
Shoes
Wear shoes (heels only please) that match your pants to a tee. This will make your legs appear longer. Don’t ever match your shoes to your shirt (unless, of course, your shirt matches your pants). In addition, it helps to wear stockings the same color as your pants.
Vertical stripes only
Don’t wear horizontal stripes. Vertical is the way to go here because they make you appear taller and skinnier. Striped pants are the rage now anyway so invest in a pair having vertical stripes and you will look slim-hipped and fine.
Hairstyles
Pin your hair up or wear it back in a high ponytail to lengthen your neck. If you look good in short hair (and not that many women do), be sure to have it cut above your ears to make your neck look longer. If you look good in both short and long hair, choose the short cuts instead.
Shed some pounds
If you are a little bit heavy, try to lose a few pounds. Short people cannot carry extra weight without looking even shorter. Shed weight and gain height. However, don’t get too skinny or you will destroy that “cute” and “adorable” look you have going for you!
Long skirts or short?
You should generally opt for the longer skirts but if you like short ones, be sure to pair them with a long jacket.
