The health of the skin entirely depend on how aware you are of the factors that affect the skin and how effectively you deal with them. The skin of the face and neck is some of the most delicate skin on the body; since skin is an organ, it should be fed and nourished properly to make it look healthy.

Blackheads are very common problem, which can be faced in any age; however, it is most common and extremely severe problem at adolescent. Blackheads usually tend to develop due to excessive oil secreted by skin. Moreover, blackheads are also caused when proper cleaning regime is not followed religiously.

As a result dead cells get accumulated on the skin and lead to formation of bumps around cheeks and nose area.

Here are some homemade masks that can be applied once in a week to keep blackheads at bay:

Fuller earth with rosewater:

This remedy is excellent for removing excess oil off your skin. Mix one tablespoon of rose water with fuller earth powder. Ensure that you mix both well and there should not be any lump. Apply this smooth paste on your skin for at least 20 minutes till it gets soaked deep through your skin. Wash off the mask using lukewarm water and enjoy later the softness of your skin.

Tea tree, sweet fennel and hazel nut oil:

These oils are very effective in helping you getting rid of blackheads. Take approximately one or two ml of each oil and mix it in a bowl, later add few drops of water into it. Now rub this oil mixture on your skin at least three times a day. This remedy unclog your pores and you would less likely to get blackheads and whiteheads.

Mint juice with curd:

Mint juice works wonder in majority of skin problems. You can consider applying mint juice with curd to get relief from blackhead problem. Crush few leaves of mint using blender to get smooth paste and add two-three teaspoon of curd into it. Apply this paste on your skin everyday to get astonishing results.

Almond powder with lemon juice:

Almond powder mixed with lemon juice is another effective remedy that can be applied to your skin to keep away blackheads. Crush two-three almonds and add few drops of lemon juice into it; apply this paste on your skin at least twice a week to remove blackheads.

Blackheads can be prevented using these effective remedies; however, make sure that you stay away from oil and fried food and take good care of your skin.
