High protein, tasty and nutritious meal to help you build muscles
A lot of people these days are put off from trying a diet as they think that all healthy foods are tasteless and like rabbit food. This is untrue as long as you know how to prepare the correct foods.
If you have the right ingredients then there is no reason that you can not eat healthy and tasty meals all the time. These meals can then also help you to grow and build muscles.
So here is an example below of a simple, quick and easy meal to make that will fit into your diet and aid your muscle growth programme.
The meal contains tuna as it has over 30g of protein in a can and there is no fat at all so it is great for helping to build muscle. It is great to increase your daily protein consumption and it also contains essential fatty acids as well.
This recipe is a highly nutritious meal and is also full of complex carbohydrates so that you have the fuel in your body to assist with the workouts that you are doing. As it contains everything that you need nutritionally in a meal you will be building muscle faster when eating it.
The ingredients.
You will need to have
• Some fresh parsley, which is chopped ready to use.
• An onion, which again is finely chopped up.
• A large can of chopped tomatoes.
• About 8 oz of whole grain rice.
• A tablespoon of olive oil.
• Two cloves of garlic crushed up.
• Approximately 8 oz of chopped mushrooms.
• 7 oz of tuna in water and
• ½ lb of broccoli.
What next?
Start to cook your rice as instructed on the packet whilst also simmering your oil and your onion and garlic in a pan. When slightly brown add the broccoli and mushrooms and then simmer for about another 4 minutes.
Once this is cooked stir in the tuna and then the tomatoes. Let it simmer again for about 5 minutes.
When the rice is cooked, drain and place in a bowl, mix in the tuna and tomatoes mixture and then serve. Sprinkle with the parsley and enjoy!
