Everybody loves gorgeous skin and people go to any extent to get it. You can avoid sunbathing, but you cannot avoid going out in the sun altogether. This everyday exposure to the sun can result in dark spots, breakouts and fine lines. However, you do not have to lock yourself up in your room. There is hope for you because these problems are superficial and can be easily corrected.
Your skin will love a routine. Therefore, follow a constant routine and you will surely see changes and these problems disappearing.
Keep your skin hydrated
Sun and heat can work together to suck up the water in your body and hence, leave your skin dehydrated. You should choose a cream or a lotion and also apply a moisturizing mask at least once a week. You can buff up your scaly areas gently with a scrub and finish off with an oil spray while the skin is damp. Oil works better than cream to moisturize. For hands, use lactic acid to exfoliate and glycerin to hydrate.
Keep an even skin tone
Even after summer, some areas of the skin continue to produce pigment, which causes brown spots or dark patches. You can restore your complexion by applying a home made peel that contains salicylic or glycolic acid. While chemical exfoliators are good to disperse dark spots, if they do not help, you should try a cream containing 2% hydroquinone. The hydroquinone helps the skin to stop producing pigment. To stay away from any future damage, do not forget to use a daily face cream with an SPF of at least 15.
Out with the breakouts
In the summer, your skin produces more oil than it does in fall. As a result, in the summer your skin gets naturally exfoliated faster. This causes the blockages to be removed and hence the result is no blemishes. A face cleanser containing 2% salicylic acid is a good choice because it goes deep into pores and dissolves the dirt and bacteria that are there.
Fire the fine lines
Those fine lines have no right to stay on your face. The UVA rays affect the fibers that firm up your skin. This results in fine lines because the skin becomes less elastic. Vitamin C promotes collagen and elastin formation. This will repair crow’s feet. Using an anti-aging eye cream containing minerals and seaweed is also a good idea to get rid of those fine lines.
