You’ve been so looking forward to Valentine’s Day and now it has finally arrived. You’ve got yourself a hot date and want to look your best to impress. You can either opt for a soft, romantic look, a sexy look or you can smoulder away at your date.
Soft and Romantic Look
Keep make-up soft with the use of sheer, muted colours and avoid overdoing any one area of the face. Pink suits all skin tones, whether pale white or deep brown. If, you can afford to buy only one new product for your fresh romantic look, opt for a pink lip gloss that carries brown undertones. A shade so gorgeous it looks fantastic on everyone.
For creating the face, begin by curling lashes and applying mascara, but not too much of it. Keep foundation sheer or skip using tinted moisturiser instead. Contour cheeks with sheer blush, placing just on your cheekbones. Again, keep it light. Add the lip gloss and you’re done!
Vivid, Sexy Look
Enhance your eyes by adding individual lashes to the lash line, but first, apply mascara to your natural lashes. Next, add from 3 to 6 lashes at the outer corners of each eye for a very sexy and flirty look. The extra lashes will open up your eyes and give life to your whole face.
For a glossy, sparkling look, apply sheer shimmer shadow to the lids to brighten eyes. Keep cheek colour sheer and go in for a deep Bordeaux red lipstick or rich, berry lip stain. For fun, add a beauty mark with liquid eyeliner, let dry and powder to ensure it stays in place.
Smouldering Look
Paint yourself gorgeous giving yourself smouldering eyes and matte face and mouth. For smouldering eyes keep dark shadow at the ends to soften the look. Use pale pink shadow on the eyelids, sheer charcoal at the corners of the eyes and some under the eyes. Use a light touch. Next, apply mascara and do not forget to comb and groom your eyebrows. Glossy lips detract from dramatic, smouldering eyes, so keep lips matte using a matte lipstick in deep ruby.
