Filmfare enters Germany

Filmfare Magazine, undoubtedly India’s one of the favorite Bollywood magazines, is now available in a German edition! The first issue in June is already a sold-out, though, in the beginning, the magazine will be sold monthly but it is trusted that it soon gets its fortnightly cycle hitting popular chart.
The editor of the Filmfare in German edition is Seweta Ahmadi of Media Offenbach Main and the magazine will be available in Indian stores and also as online subscription for downloading. The magazine is kept with reasonable price, 3.50 Euros.
This is not the first time a Bollywood magazine has hit the German market. Stardust, another popular magazine too, tried an edition a couple of years ago but it failed getting success and a German company also faced failure with Bollywood Rapid Eye Magazine.
However, the times have changed and the forecast for Filmfare is quite better as customers have turned more towards online purchasing and downloading that carries lower cost and risks for the publisher. Maybe, now would be a good time for Filmfare to set up in the UK as well!
