Facials
In order to have glowing and smooth skin facials are perfect. Most people think that having facials at beauty saloon is very luxurious. However, it is not true because professional facials can help you to cleanse your face deeply and this can be done by you at home only.
Facials involve:
First step of facial is steaming that helps you to open your skin pores. Second step is cleansing that remove white and black heads. Third step is application of face mask in order to rejuvenation. And final step is treatment with moisturizer for skin dehydration.
If you find that beauty salon facials are expensive, then you can have facial at home. It is very good to have home facial once in a week. You can follow the following guidelines for exhilarating facial at home:
Tie any scarf or place head band just above forehead along hairline in order to protect your hair. Start with thoroughly skin cleansing. Choose quality cleanser as per you skin tone. Apply it on your face, massage for few minutes and then wipe it off with damp cotton-wool ball.
While your face is still moist, apply facial scrub just to have deep-cleansing of pores. However, if you are suffering from eruptions and pimples then avoid using scrub. If your skin type is normal or dry, apply nourishing cream and then with wet hands (use water) massage cream into skin using outwards and upwards strokes. Avoid cream if your skin is oily.
Wipe your facial skin with the help of clean moist towel or damp cotton-wool ball. Thereafter, apply face mask on your whole face leaving area around your eyes. Soak two cotton-wool pads in the rosewater and place them on your eyes. Lie down and relax till mask dries. After drying of face mask wash it away with water. Wrap some ice cubes in clean cloth and then rub them on your face. Avoid applying ice directly on skin or keep it at one spot for long.
You can use many things from your kitchen for beauty treatments.
Tomato:
You can use its juice or slices for you skin. It is very good for those who have oily skin. It is a good cleanser and also helps to lighten your skin color.
Fennel:
Soak fennel for overnight in water. Then strain water, and wash your face with it. It cleanses your skin and provides brightness to dull skin.
Lemon Peels:
They cleanse the skin and keep it healthy. You can use them in your scrub or face mask after drying them in sun.
Mayonnaise:
It is very good for nourishing the skin. You can also use it as hair conditioner.
Onions:
Its juice helps in preventing blemishes. Use it with honey, it is very good remedy for wrinkles
