Facial masks for you
The stores and the beauty shops are filled with all kinds of skin care products. When it comes to skin care products we tend to focus more on the creams and moisturisers.
What many of us tend to forget is that facial masks are equally important. There are different types of facial masks available in the market and they are made for different skin types.
But in case you do not like the products available in the market, there is nothing to worry about. You can make your very own facial mask at home. The ingredients are all there in the kitchen. All you have to do is prepare the mask.
Papaya is excellent for the skin. Mash some papaya and apply it on your face right after washing. Keep it for 5 minutes and then rinse with cool water. This works as an exfoliator. If you have sensitive skin then it is better to try it on your wrist and see if there is any reaction.
Another good mask is made of oat and honey. First, cook a bit of oat and then mix some honey with it. Apply it on your face and keep it for 15 minutes. It is better if you lie down while you have the mask on your face.
Next in line are tomatoes. Slice some ripe tomatoes and put them all over your face. But make sure you wash your face and then dry it with a towel before applying the tomatoes. This is an excellent mask for oily skin.
You can also use avocado. Mash the pulp and apply that all over your skin. Keep it for 15 minutes and then wash your face. After that, you can also use the seed of avocado to massage your face.
Cucumber mask is similar to a tomato mask. First, wash your face and then dry it with a towel. Slice some cucumber and then put them all over your face. Keep it for a while and then remove the slices.
Olive, eggs, and lemon mask makes the skin firm. Whip the white of an egg. Add one teaspoon of honey and lemon juice to that. Apply it on the face after you have washed it and dried it with a towel. Keep the mask on for 15 minutes and then wash your face.
Last but not the least, is a honey mask. Apply honey all over your face and keep it for no more than 5 minutes. Then wash your face and see the difference in your skin.
