Facial hair removal

Not only men have more facial hair than they want, some women do too. There are a few methods of getting rid of unwanted hair; the razor is not your only choice. If you aspire to have a silky-smooth, hairless face, try some of the methods those are adopted worldwide. Plucking is useful for individual hairs, for example if you have a few stray chin hairs and it is one of the best methods to keep eyebrows in shape but it can be sore and time consuming for larger areas of the face and can result in irritation and some discoloration for darker-skinned women.
The latest technique involves Laser hair removal, which is the newest weapon in the hair removal arsenal. The ideal candidate for laser hair removal has fair skin and dark hair, but good results can be achieved by an experienced laser practitioner on darker-skinned women. Overall, laser hair removal is not very effective on light blonde or white hair.
Waxing using cold wax strips can be easily managed at home and most people do not find it too painful to handle small strips at a time for small areas of the face but you will have a degree of redness afterwards so it’s not advisable to use wax just before you go out. It will take a few hours at best for your skin to settle down. You can also buy hot wax kits if you are waxing a larger area of your face but you may find these quite tricky to use.
Another option is depilatory creams. These creams contain chemicals that dissolve the hair follicles. This method used correctly (do not leave on longer than usual) is usually painless. However, much like getting a perm, there is a horrible smell afterwards. While the smell (the result of sulfur, a byproduct of the chemical reaction used to dissolve the hair follicle) does not last as long as it does with a perm, it is definitely there! Side effects: Both allergic and chemical dermatitis (test on hidden spot on skin beforehand). Effectiveness: up to two weeks.
Think about electrolysis, a permanent hair removal method in which an electrical current is used to destroy the hair root. Several treatments may be required over a period of time, as each hair follicle must be destroyed individually. Tweezing and threading are considered to be the safest method of removal of unwanted hair but these are extremely time-consuming. Tweeze eyebrows using a sharp, clean pair of tweezers. Place a warm damp cloth over the brows for 5-10 minutes before plucking to soften the area or tweeze immediately after shower.
