Effective ways to gain health
You must be tired of hearing –“Lose weight easily” or “steps for losing weight” and many more of such phrases. This is not for overweight people. I would like to discuss steps thin people have to take for gaining weight. This can be achieved by simple changes in diet and also your lifestyle.
1) First of all, ask a dietician to formulate a complete diet for you which must include proteins, carbohydrates as well as fat. You must keep a ratio of carbohydrates higher enough compared to protein and fat.
2) Opt for eating food that does not have a lot of fat but rather contains mineral, vitamins and calories. Remember we need to gain weight by developing muscle and not fat in body.
3) Do not skip meals. Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner daily comprising of nutritious food. If possible, have brunch as well.
4) Avoid drinking any beverage an hour before or after your diet. This might decrease your appetite.
5) Add mixed fruit juice in your diet as it contains good amount of calories. Apple juice or banana juice are also helpful but they do not have as much calories as mixed fruit juice.
6) You can also add a small glass of alcohol in your diet. Intake of alcohol before meal helps stimulate appetite. However, alcohol should only be consumed in moderation.
7) Keep fat in your diet to limited amount but don’t completely avoid it. Good sources for fat include fish, avocado and nuts.
8) Include protein in large proportion in your diet. Intake of chicken breast, turkey, fruits, vegetable etc are helpful in bringing protein into your body.
9) Gym! This is the best way to increase muscle. Make sure that after exercising you eat enough to regain energy that you invested during exercising.
10) Drink low-fat milk daily. It contains a lot of proteins. Whole milk should be avoided since it is difficult to digest.
11) Avoid junk food totally. It is not beneficial in any way.
