Do you need a diet?
Everyone in this world wishes to have a healthy and a disease free body. In addition to that people need the diet so as to reduce their weight and attain a perfect physique. However it is very important to find out if you really need diet as your weight depends upon your age, bone structure, height and many other factors
It is a typical task to determine what type of diet is required for your body. People start taking several diets whenever they think. They are not bothered about the body mass index which results in the bad effect to the body. You can also take a good diet if you know your body mass index. Body mass index is the measurement of the body weight with respect to the height. If the body mass index of the person falls below 20 then the person is underweight but if the person is having the body mass index more then 25 then the person is over weight. The range of 20 -25 in the body mass index is the ideal range.
It is not a typical task to have knowledge of the body mass index. If you ask a person, “Do you need a diet?” and if he/she replies yes, then it means that he/she is surely the person who is concerned for his/her health and fitness. This question becomes a great dilemma when one doesn’t know to measure the body mass index. You can also measure your body mass index if you follow some of the steps. These steps are as under:-
1. The first thing you have to do is that you should measure your height in the meters and then make it square. This is the foremost step which is to be followed.
2. Secondly, you should measure your weight in kilograms. This should be followed after the first step.
3. After measuring the height in meters and the weight in kilograms, you should divide the weight by the square of the height.
All the above stated three steps will help in measuring the body mass index and it will surely help you in coming out from the dilemma that “Do you need a diet?”
