Dehydration Can Be Fatal

They say- water is life. I completely agree with it. What about you? Before you frame your opinion, let me ask you another question. Did you know that shortage of water in your body can cause headache, mood swing, obesity and many more diseases. Yes, this is the fact. Now, what would you say?
Two third of our body mass is composed of only water. Water acts as a lubricant in our body while helping every part to perform their respective function. Just imagine, what will happen to those organs, if they are not supplied with sufficient amount of water they need. Of course, they will not function the way they should.
The warning of dehydration can come to you through many symptoms. You might experience headache or mood swing. Sometimes, you will find it hard to concentrate in any kind of work, you wanted to do. It can also happen that your response to the external stimuli would be very slow.
In many cases, it has been seen that people fail to recognize the symptom of dehydration and try to treat it in some other ways. Many after recognizing the dehydration, they give various kinds of fluid to the affected person, but not water. In such situation, the body needs only pure water. No cold drinks, no fruit juice or not any beverages. Fluid containing sugar can make the situation worse, as they eliminate water from the body.
If you are ignoring dehydration then let me warn you, you are putting your health at stake. Negligence and ignorance can also lead to the damage of internal organs. However, remember that a dehydrated person should not gulp down water at a stretch. Rather, he/she should have the water sip by sip.
