Complement Eyes
February 19, 2009
It is often said that a beautiful, dazzling pair of eyes can make diamonds and crystals look dull and muddy. Beautiful, lustrous eyes are something you are born with. But the right makeup can add some extra to your god-gifted beauty. In fact, it will not only enhance your beauty, but at the same time your eyes will be the center of attention of many.
How do you choose the right eye makeup? Some go for the latest trend while some prefer to match the eye makeup with the skin tone and some go for the style of their favorite celebrities. Many even try to match the makeup with the accessory. But of you want to have your natural look and at the same time look gorgeous, then all you have to do is follow some beauty tips.
First, have a close look at the color of your eyes. Natural shades are your best friend. All the deep blue shades, as well as violet, purple and grey would complement blue eyes. Brown, apricot, purple and forest green will add the artistic look to your pair of green eyes. Give your pair of brown eyes a glittery look by applying copper, bronze, champagne and beige. And of course there are always black eyes. This pair would look great if teamed up with brown and charcoal shadow.
Another important eye makeup is the eye liner. You can use pencil liners, which are not as long lasting as the liquid ones. This makes the eyes look appealing and cool. While applying eye liner, draw the line from the inside of the eye to the outside. After you are done you can smudge it with a cotton bud to make it look soft.
And you must not forget about mascara, which makes the lashes look gorgeous. Once again it is back to basics; that is, choose the right color. If you are a blonde or have red hair, then brown mascara is your thing. For darker haired women, the color is black. Apply the mascara to the upper lashes first. Gently brush from the root to the tip of the lash. Apply it the same way to the lower lashes. Wait for the mascara to dry.
Apply a second coat if necessary. It is better to use the water-proof mascara, then there will be no chance of a mascara massacre due to rain. But, remember to buy good eye makeup remover, as the water-proof mascara are a bit difficult to remove. So what are you waiting for? Use the right eye makeup and let your pair of eyes be your most precious jewels.
