Bride viewing an initiation into marital life

In the world of advancement and technology where every one is free to express his/her thoughts, there is still some traditions in run that try to overpower the freedom of expression. Bride viewing is one of the traditional customs among them that is prominent in the Indian society. However, the girl who must have experienced this custom may have good as well as bad memories.
Practicing this system has worse cases more then the good one. As the Indian society favors the arranged marriage, they follow the Bride viewing custom. Sometime it may happen that during the whole session the girl and boy due to their embarrassment do not see and ask something from each other in the way they want and later it can create troubles. There are some cases in light in which boys first say yes for marriage during the bridal viewing session and later on No! This would hurt the girl emotionally and she counts it as a bad experience of her life.
Most of the girls now-a-days hate this idea of Dramatic function in which they have to follow the traditional outlook by hiding their real self. Girls also feel infuriated on their inability when they listen camouflaged questions from other party regarding dowry while bridal viewing. Sometime they get driven into the dilemma when boys reject them by telling any usual and simple reasons about which they have not even thought before in life.
The modern Indian society has arranged new dimension for this traditional custom of bride viewing. It is a type of dating period for girl and boy with the consent of parents. However, in some cases even after this type of involvement boys came to know that their prospective wives escape with their boyfriends just before the wedding. While dating with the boy, girls get irksome when most of the boys tell them frankly about their fear of the future commitments.
So, from the above description you can easily conclude that the old traditional ways as well as the modern measure for bridal viewing both are having several drawbacks. There is no other way to get out of this trap of bridal viewing unless you find your partner by your own. It is advisable to find clear picture about the girl’s as well as the boy’s background, interest and expectations before their first meeting. Let them see each other online or chat, so that they can conclude average idea of character and appearance about other person. So, the best thing is to introduce the girl in simple way so that one can give the correct views in first time.
Prospective couple should talk on important issues freely, so that they can decide to proceed towards marital relationship. Never get foster with the fear of rejection. So, do not fear of the bridal viewing ceremony and be a sport. This could be the memorable moment of your life so do not take it lightly.
