In today’s busy world, taking care of oneself has reduced to a large extent. Earlier people used to take care of their body, skin, hair etc by having a proper sumptuous meal that would consist of all the essential nutrients that the body requires for the proper growth and maintenance of the body.
As the world is becoming busier and faster and as the competition is increasing in all the fields, people hardly have time to take care. Discoveries of electrical appliances for all the work have made life easier. Right from kitchen appliances, coffee vending machines for having a coffee etc everything has become automated.
Not only in daily activities but in terms of beauty and healthcare also automatic instruments like blow dryers etc have come into existence. Blow drying the hair definitely helps in drying the hair faster, but it has its own advantages and disadvantages.
The hair should not be very wet while using a blow dryer since that would damage the hair to a large extent. A towel must be used to blot dry the excess of water from the hair so that excess of water is blot dried and there is less damage to the hair.
Never use high speed and heat to dry your hair, since this makes the hair brittle.
Also the hair looks more lustrous and healthy when dried using a lower speed and heat, since it gets set properly and does not get too dry and unmanageable. While brushing the hair, the airflow must be close to the brush to set the hair correctly.
For curls and waves to develop use a cooler temperature so that the curls are formed in a right manner. Be sure to switch off the dryer only after your hair is entirely dry.
It is always advisable to use a blow dry lotion to give a good shine to the hair. It is very essential to use a good brand of blow dryer since the harmful effects to the hair and damage to the hair will be less.
Though blow dryers are helpful in drying hair quickly, it is advised not to use them frequently since frequent usage would definitely damage the quality of the hair and the hair would lose its moisture relatively fast if blow dried continuously. So it is advisable to use a blow drier only when needed and not always.
