No makeup is complete unless you have the perfect eye makeup. When we say eye makeup, the first thing that comes in mind is eyeliner. The best thing about eyeliner is that it not only makes the eyes look beautiful, but it can also make small eyes look bigger.
This very cosmetic gives the eyes a dramatic look and at the same time it is easy to apply.
To have the perfect pair of eyes you need to apply the liner the right way. Here are some tips that will not only help you apply the liner the right way, but also help you to find the right color eyeliner for your eyes.
Before you start, you have to decide what kind of product you will be using. Pencil eyeliner will give you a soft look where liquid ones add the dramatic look. Decide what you wish to use depending on the occasion.
Now let us do a bit of tutorial. Many have the tendency of starting from one corner of the eye. Avoid doing that, unless you want smoky eyes. Instead start from the middle of the eye.
Apply the liner on top of the lash line. This will make the lashes look thicker. If it is a pencil liner, then make sure it is sharp. Do not apply any other cosmetic on the eyes before applying the eyeliner other than eye shadow.
If you want the smoky effect, all you have to do is use a smudging brush or cotton and smudge the liner a bit after applying. But in this case you have to start applying eyeliner from the inside corner of the eye and move to the outer side of the eye.
Make sure that the line is relatively thicker in the middle of the eye. Do all of this before you smudge the liner.
If you wish your eyeliner to last longer, apply some eye shadow on the line. And this tip is applicable for both liquid and pencil eye liner.
One effective tip, use a 0 brush for liquid eyeliner. That will help you to get any shape you want — thick or thin.
