Beauticians suggest the following five steps for an effective make up.
Foundation cream:
As the very name suggests, this is the foundation for a good make up. Foundation cream, equal to a medium size soybean is placed on the face and the cream is evenly spread on the entire face.
Do not use too much of foundation cream. There are different types of foundation creams. For persons with acne or any other spot on the face, green and blue colored foundation is preferred.
For those who are yellowish in color, purple foundation is preferred. For those who have white skin, transparent foundation cream is preferred.
Foundation Emulsion:
This is also an equally important step as the first one. Emulsion used is twice the quantity of foundation and is evenly spread on the face. The point between the hairline and forehead is allowed to appear natural.
This is very much required for those who have spots like acne, etc. Some will have dark spots between the eyebrows and the eyes. On these spots concealers are applied and evenly spread with a brush. This will hide the acne and such other spots.
Powder:
Beauticians always advice that after the first three steps are properly done; we should concentrate on the cheeks. Apply evenly little pressed powder pancake and powder puff on the cheeks.
This can be applied on the exposed places of the head also. This step is intended to give finishing touches to the face. Apply loose powder and apply it evenly on the face. Pay special attention to the boundary between the face and the neck.
This is as important as the facial make up. For eye make up, firstly trim the eye brows. If the trimming is done for the first time, better get it done by a professional beautician.
Then decorate the eye brows with brow brush and brow powder. The next process is the eye shadow. Select the shadow which matches the color of the clothes you propose to wear.
Apply light powder around eye socket and then the color. Deepen the color near the eyelashes. The eye liner is the finishing touch for the eyes. Apply a thin line at the point of the open space between eyeballs and eye lashes with pencil.
